- Platform Activity: Automatically recorded when you browse, download content, use calculators, or register for webinars.
- Cookies & Analytics: Basic session cookies and analytics tools may collect anonymised usage data to improve platform performance.
- Support Interactions: When you contact us via email or support forms, we retain communication records.
4Why We Use Your Data
We use your personal data strictly for the following purposes:
- Account Creation & Authentication: To register your Partner account and verify your identity via OTP-based login.
- Co-branding: To automatically apply your logo, photo, ARN, and contact details to downloaded marketing materials.
- Platform Operations: To provide access to the content library, financial calculators, webinars, and Regnum Academy.
- Communications: To send platform updates, new content notifications, webinar reminders, and regulatory alerts via email or SMS.
- Compliance & Audit: To maintain download and activity logs for AMFI compliance audit purposes and internal quality checks.
- Customer Support: To respond to your queries, grievances, or technical issues.
- Platform Improvement: To analyse usage patterns (in anonymised form) and improve features, performance, and content quality.
- Legal Obligations: To comply with requirements under Indian law, including SEBI, AMFI, IT Act, and PMLA regulations.
No Marketing to Third Parties: We will never use your data to send you unsolicited marketing on behalf of any third-party product, AMC, or financial institution without your explicit consent.
5Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Technology Partners: Trusted service providers who host or operate the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, SMS OTP) under strict data processing agreements.
- Regnum Group Entities: Affiliated entities within the Regnum Group for internal operational purposes, subject to the same data protection standards.
- Regulatory Authorities: AMFI, SEBI, IRDAI, FIU-IND, or law enforcement agencies where disclosure is required by law, court order, or regulatory directive.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, user data may be transferred to the successor entity with prior notice to users.
All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to handle your data confidentially and use it only for the specific purpose for which it was shared.
6Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your Partner account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter as required by law and operational necessity:
- Account Data (name, ARN, contact) — Retained for the duration of your active account plus 5 years after closure for regulatory compliance.
- Activity Logs (downloads, login history) — Retained for 3 years for audit and compliance purposes.
- Co-brand Assets (logo, photo) — Retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.
- Support Records — Retained for 2 years from the date of the last interaction.
- Technical & Session Data — Anonymised and retained for up to 12 months for analytics.
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with our data destruction policy.
7Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:
- All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.2+
- Passwords are never stored in plain text; OTP-based authentication eliminates persistent password storage

Security Incident: In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required under applicable Indian data protection regulations.

10Children's Privacy
The Saarthi platform is intended exclusively for registered Mutual Fund Distributors who are adults (18 years of age or older). We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that personal data of a minor has been submitted, we will delete such data immediately.

12Regulatory Compliance

DPDP Act Readiness: As India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 comes into full effect, Saarthi will obtain explicit, granular consent from users and appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required. We will update this policy accordingly.
13Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or regulatory guidelines. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
For material changes that significantly affect how we process your data, we will notify registered users via email to their registered address at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Saarthi platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
